The committee is the most effective and direct way for parents to become active members of the Rice community. The Rice Parents' Program is a part of Rice's Annual Fund effort. With support from Rice parents as well as Rice alumni and friends, the Annual Fund provides a reliable source of immediately expendable, unrestricted income for the development of new academic initiatives. In addition, the Annual Fund supports Rice students with enhanced residential college life, educational technology, library acquisitions, campus security, scholarships, and much more. Volunteers are needed to serve on the committee. The committee is composed of a group of parents across the country who are dedicated to playing a key leadership role in the future of Rice.
