Reunion Giving Co-Chair
This position provides leadership and direction for the class reunion giving effort. Responsibilities include recruiting a committee, soliciting classmates to increase their gifts for this effort, setting goals and strategies, writing a personalized letter to the class, and presenting the reunion gift check to the president at homecoming. Co–chairs are expected to make a gift before soliciting others. The co–chair term is two years, and the average time commitment is eight hours per month.
This position assists the reunion co-chairs in identifying and soliciting classmates to lead the effort with gifts of $2,500 or more ($500 for classes 10 or fewer years out). The co–chairs will recruit committee members, set goals and strategies, attend training sessions, and present the reunion gift check to the president at homecoming. The leadership gift co-chairs are expected to make a gift before soliciting others. The co-chair term is two years, and the average time commitment is eight hours per month.
This is a great way to be involved with your reunion. Members of the class reunion committee are expected to attend training sessions and telefunds, update classmate records, contact up to 20 classmates to make an Annual Fund gift in honor of their reunion, send thank you notes, and attend the reunion gift presentation at homecoming. Committee members are expected to make a gift before soliciting others. The term is one year, and the average time commitment is four hours per month.
