Thank you for promoting Rice’s 24-Hour Challenge on Wednesday, March 4, 2026! Please use this toolkit to spread the word about the challenge and encourage your network to support Rice.

Our goal: when 7,000 donors make a gift by March 4, Dr. Riva Rahl (’95, P’29) and two other generous alumni will donate a total of $850,000 to Rice!

Gifts of any size or designation will count toward the overall goal. Supporters can make a gift at challenge.rice.edu beginning February 25.

• Visit the Advocacy Dashboard using the button above.

• The dashboard will allow you to share content with your social networks, create a match or challenge of your own, or even create an appeal video that will be hosted on the campaign page.

February 25 - March 4: Share to your network

Using the Advocacy Dashboard’s sharing feature, spread the word about the challenge on your social networks. Every sharing button creates a unique tracking link, so your impact is followed and highlighted next to your name on the campaign’s Advocates tab.

March 4: Send a personal email to 5 friends

A warm, personalized message from you is one of the greatest advocacy tools at your disposal. Use the template below or write your own, but most importantly — speak from the heart! Make sure to use your unique tracking link* so your success is recognized.
